The distribution is a bit skewed but most that I know were born in Australia and lived here. The uni has all sorts of people from everywhere. However as I said the distribution is skewed.

You would be better off picking one and transferring out to the other later on. Flexible is mainly 'useful' if you have no clue at all between 5 different types of engineering.

Yea I remember reading this in reading time and smirked. I guess it's a good way to get rid of a few nerves for those who sat the paper. Would be good if actual HSC exams had a few corny jokes chucked in that are clearly visible during reading time. Also, it's a good way to keep the question...

Don't pick an option based on this. It is done afresh every year any way. Everyone will have different interests involved with each option. Pick the one you like most or find interesting.

It's a really chill interview and they ask a few questions about why you want to study Engineering.

Anyone can integrate fine at any uni with others who are willing to make friends. I guess the only factor that changes is how many people are willing to make new friends at the uni. From my experience, pretty much everyone I have met has been friendly.
