I'm doing Catcher in the Rye at the moment for my related text and I'm probably not going to change this late, but hypothetically, would the show be a good related text? It's my favourite show on TV, there's heaps of themes woven into it and I know basically everything about it and can quote...

For a related text is it better to use Sylvia Plath's poems or the movie Sylvia? With the movie you are able to talk about film techniques and how they are used to convey a different perspective, but the movie is garbage, and I like Plath's poems more (silly, I know)

I'm not sure why you can't do a Sylvia Plath poem. We can at my school. Birthday Letters was written by Ted Hughes and not Sylvia after all.
