    advice

I don't think you would definitely be placed at disadvantaged school to be honest. Maybe get a higher degree or another one in conjunction with your teaching degree or specialise in something. I know private schools look for teachers who have more qualifications. It really doesn't matter what...

    Repeat hsc?

You really wouldn't want to repeat and 95 is a great ATAR, you can do Med Sci and transfer.

    What is WAM and GPA?

I know GPA is grade point average. But what's WAM and how are they both calculated? I don't know .... any general information would be helpful :).

Just below cutoff, what to do?

You can always give it a go, you never know. If you really want to do law you can check out UTS and MACQ law too.

    Scaling 2013

Maths scaled really well. I think I got in the low 70s which aligned/scaled to 88.

    Poem as Related Text?

I got told you can't do the same text type. I did Skrzynecki and I did Nino Culotta's film They're A Weird Mob. It links really well with the overall rubric of belonging and you can find it on YouTube. It is also not one that everybody knows of which is a massive plus.

so its after..5pm who has their early offer?

By activate do you mean just your birthday and password and nothing else? Because after I did that, they redirected me to another UWS website because activation takes about 15 minutes and now I want to check but it's not loading ...

    EAS Letter

Yeah if some unis say no then EAS doesn't apply for them but you still have EAS for those who said yes.
  9. T

    EAS Letter

Maybe it's the one for schools which is automatic?

    Law job opportunities

Well USYD is good for law and UNSW comes in second I think. But employers don't look a unis, they will focus more on your personality at the interview as well as your uni marks.

UTS Med Sci vs UWS Med Sci (Adv)

If I would you, I would accept early offer from UWS and then put UTS as first preference before it the close date. If UTS accepts, I would probably go since it's a lot closer. UWS is takes approx 70 minutes for me which is quite a lot considering it's a to and from trip a few times a week...

    School Dux Discussion

Yeah it's dux from trials and year 12 assessments for speech day awards and etc. That same dux usually gets the highest ATAR anyway.

    School Dux Discussion

Our Dux got 99.95, so happy for her :)
  14. T

How close were ATAR calculators for you?

Matrix gave me the highest and Dux gave me the closest estimate which was lower by Matrix by like, 3 -_-

    EAS Letter

Definitely appeal. Your case seems more severe than mine. Mine was ticked as "considerable" and I missed out 100 or so days of school (both full days and partial, but mostly partial) in year 11 and 12. Good luck and I hope it all works out.
  16. T

Below cutoff for law but with eas

It could possibly work with EAS, just put what you want the most first regardless of the ATAR and see what happens.
  17. T

Atar too low can I still make it?

10 at UTS for a low socio-economic school and maybe 10 more for EAS would equate to 20. I'm not sure if they give out that many though o_o.
