Yeh im doing 12 units as well and thinking of dropping senior science to focus more on maths and the extra free periods. Im waiting till after the half yearlies to see how i go in senior science, cos im still unsure atm. But only you can figure that out. With the difficulty of 4U, im not sure...

And they will probably have to go through bridging courses, to be up to the level of other students if they are doing a course which requires a higher level of maths. Anyway doing 4u maths will definitely be an advantage if your going do science/eng or like actuarial studies.

Wow, thanks for that man :) Im pretty sure with comp.eng now..but do you guys know what the job market is like for comp.eng/IT in Australia ??, thats the only thing im concerned about, and i've been hearing that Telcomm Eng jobs are in high demand. And im going for a double degree, eng/commerce...

Theres about 20-25 in my class and theres 3 classes and a total of about 60-70 i think. I think we have like 140 something in our grade.

i see, hmm, i checked the unsw handbook site and faculty sites, and i have changed my desired course again..lol, it seems Comp eng has a larger variety of 'Computer' related courses than elec eng, and taht would be better for me as im not really interested in the other elec courses like power...

Hmm, thanx for that..i can say that electrical is more for me, then. With microprocessor design, that what im interested in specifically, and if its included in elec eng thats good, so i can make a more informed decision about other specialisations later on. And Beng/Bcomm is what im aiming for...

We did Complex Numbers, last year, and we finished Polynomials last week,now Conics is next. we have 3 4U classes at my school with about 70 people i think.
