hmm here we go again, another change of thinking! Comp Eng/Science (Physics). Also do you guys know much about the '4.5 years BE(Comp Eng)) MIT (& by Research)' degree? I know its only possible to do it in 3rd year. So is it like a Masters Degree in Comp Eng?..

So say if I wanted to do the same as you have mentioned, would that be possible by doing a comp eng(electronics designs, programming, graphics, computer architecture) and combined with a commerce degree instead of doing elec eng/comp science ?

hmm, actually screw commerce, I dont like the sound of it at all and its 5.5 yrs (with Eng). The only reason I would do it is if I cant get a job in comp eng or elec eng then i have commerce to fall back on...btw thanks for giving me the insight Gman, I have pretty much decided to do Elec...

hey guys, im confused about the differences between electrical eng and comp eng. I've been thinking of comp eng for a while and I was impressed at the C&C day by the CSE faculty. I know comp eng has a lot of elec subjects in it but elec eng seems more varied in depth?
