    No, unfortunately they don't. \ As I've said, the first test is always the hardest. Subsequent tests will be easier. You will pass if you study the prac prior to the test.

    They didn't have to do pre-tests in BIOS1201. they killed them since 2005. Pre-test - study everything int he manual for that prac. The first pre-test will always be the hardest, just to "warn" people to study more... Subsequent tests will be easier. Pre-tests may include multiple choice...

    It's haematology. Molecular Biology is more of looking at DNA, its structure and its regulation.

    A popular question would be asking your to design an experiment, e.g. determine how you would be testing SA/V ratio can affect diffusion. How do you draw the cross-section of a kidney? What is the role of the nephron? Draw a nephron with labels.

    Although it doesn't say you can do double majors in Adv Science, you can use your electives (if enough cou) to do another major. But I don't think it will be printed on your testamur.

    It's a gimmick to trick people to get into Medsci. Don't believe it. Any science degree can "underpin the studies of medicine."

    If you have listed components including red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, plasma, factor VIII, then you are expected to DISCUSS the uses of ALL these products, not only ones you want to talk about. And to save yourself in case a huge question come up, you should talk about "uses"...

    If you get a GPA of 5.5, you better nail the GAMSAT and the interview or you won't have a chance. I think that's a minimum. I think a GPA of 5.5 is a borderline Credit/Distinction average (average around 75 in WAM maybe). Someone can confirm.

    It's an "analyse" dot point. You need to know in fair detail. Obviously the blood has a lot of factors and components, but just know the main ones. Know your blood cells, plasma (and maybe the difference between plasma and serum), platelets, soluble components such as O2, CO2, etc.
