hi anthonykang, the UAI cut off for the course you choose at uni will not be taken into account to your success in transferring to law. As to how well you have to perform at uni, I'd say about a mid to high Distinction average. (80+).

i think think there's much you can do. They are not going to change MICR i don't think since it's been like that for a few years. You're going to have to miss out on one of the lecture.

Single and double degrees both have similar workload per week. Doing a double degree doesn't mean you do DOUBLE the amount of work... It just mean you have to complete less units from each of your degree to compensate, and one year longer.

But aditya, how do you know what the quota is for both degrees?? If Uni abc accept 50 students for Mechanical engineering, and Uni xyz accepts 100 (hence a relatively lower cut off), does it make mechanical engineering at Uni abc better becaue of a higher cut off which is determined by many...

Those microbiology, biochem etc. are for Second and later years to pick for the area that you want to specilise, or major, in. The 4th honours year is a research project carried out on your major area. For example, if you majored in microbiology in the third year, you do a microbiology project...

HECS cut offs are higher. Those who got in with 91-91.5 are FEE paying or maybe they've got EAS scheme.

Just do any science degree and if your marks are high enough after the completion of your first year, transfer to Pharmacy. Alternatively, complete a Science degree (I'm not sure if it HAS to be B Med Sci), then try Pharmacy.

Job prospect depends on many, many different things. You need experience in the industry, academic ability (uni marks), your personal skills and amongst other things. Your course ALONE does NOT determines whether job opportunities are limited or not. If you have all of the qualities mentioned...

No...never heard of it. However, the top 10 in med science may have a high enough mark (and UMAT and Interview scores) that enable them to transfer to med.

Just get a normal job at a research centre, lab etc... lab technicians, research (CSIRO), making new discoveries, teaching at uni (e.g. becoming a tutor). of course there are other options depending on what you specialise in
