i think 2004 chem paper is much more easier than 2003. I can answer most of the questions. The calculations were extremely easy. But then again, i've done chem at uni, maybe that made the 2004 hsc paper looked easier than 2003 hsc paper...i don't know.

English in any level always provide insufficient amount of time for candidates. I guess that's the underlying principle of studying English.... That is to write a coherent, quality peice within a limited amount of time. And the amount you know from studying the english course in order to answer...

Report is usally formal, with headings and sub-heading to allow reader to follow the flow of argument. Some reports include pictures and graphs where appropriate. Points can be made using dot point form.

If the question asks you to write a formal essay, then it would not be appropriate to add any jokes to your speech. If on the other hand, the question insinuated a sense of informality to your speech, then a joke would be appropriate. What was the exact question, if you remember.
