trinx32, Society and Culture is one of the those subjects that only requires a little bit of effort to get high mark! I only study 2 hours one day before the exam and got 93. it is not really that hard. lol If you don't get into your desired course at uni, maybe try to get into B Arts. Then...

    Studying

Shamz, there's no right way of studying. One of an interesting way to approach the HSC exam was trying to predict the questions in the exam. I did that last year and everything I studied was tested in the HSC exam! What you do is take out your syllabus, and tick those dot points that they have...

timmy - it is possible to extinct a whole species using many different types of drugs - maybe 1000+ which (i think) can be produced by simply rearranging the chemical structure of drug. for example, there are isomers of glucose. heath and sports science

I think they accept about 150 people every year. In the first year, you do chem, phy, bio, and sport science including gym work (my friend is doing it, that's how i know). It is organised by the med faculty because it is more in the field of Health, thus relating to medicine and health. Plus...

B Psych, and B Sci Major Psych

That's not true. There's no advanced courses in psychology. In other field of science, like biology in which there are advanced course, B Sci students can choose to between the advanced version or the fundamental ones.

B Psych, and B Sci Major Psych

It's strange to me how this work. Why would B Sci people have to prove themselve and get 10 marks higher to get into the same honour compared to B Psyc people?

    A few questions

Yes, some gen ed is hard - med ones in winter session. But if you choose the ones you like, even though it would be hard, you can still manage. Gen ed is usually 2 hours a week, so it won't be too bad even though if you are going to do 2 of them.

Can sum1 plz estimate my uai?

probably 70. work a bit harder on english. Focus on either Maths OR history, since histrory scales crap, you need a higher hsc mark for anicent to be counted instead of maths. If you get 75 in every subjects, you have a chance at a UAI of 80.

B Psych, and B Sci Major Psych

I think the lecturer pick students with the highest mark. i don't think they are going to pick a B Psyc student to do a honour with an average of 75 compared to a student with average of 85. HOWEVER, if both students achieved the SAME WAM (average mark over the entried course), it will most...

Yes, prevention is better then to TREAT. It is better to avoid getting the disease, than getting it and treating it.
