He's ranked 40th in english to begin with .. That instantly is gonna cost him a shit load .. His school is ~150 , so the likelihood of him being in an amazing cohort is slim .. He's ranked far from the top in everything else, And his subs don't scale excessively well either .. I think you need...

My cohort is one of the largest in the state .. Ranked 114 .. I'm first in 3/5 subjects and top 3 in my other 2 .. I'm pushing a 98 .. To say a guy ranked so low at a school only just below my own obtaining over 90, is some what insulting .. Unless everyone above OP have acquired very similar...

I honestly don't think you are ... School rank is relatively poor, and you're not doing overly great in anything .. Especially english. I honestly can't see you obtaining anything more than ~86 if you remain at this level.

how can a school ranked as such have their students get such low marks internally? Serious question.

All my teachers are current hsc markers, and my class averaged over 18 .. I don't see how they could mark that hard, considering there need to be some protocols in terms of marking guidelines ..

Even by adding 6 having those marks in the hsc would seem to me like your entire cohort is extremely bad :L Total of 41/100 from the hsc markers isn't a great effort tbh ...

I mean that in terms of previous scores required to obtain them .. Obviously I'll be trying with 3 subjects over 95%, but I couldn't imagine the immense task of actually obtaining 5 or 6 state ranks

No one would have any idea in regards to senior science would they? I have an internal percentage of 96% Again ranked 1st (I'm aware my subjects are so lame) Lol

I didn't think it would be .. I was on 90% prior to trials .. The oral assessment to start year 12 messed me up :L Only got 12/15 ( 80%) and subsequently it's been a struggle ever since lol

No way :L Average was well below that ~ 60 something % School has a lot of hsc markers for standard and advanced etc that marked our papers We had a few top 20 ranks for standard last year, and managed to pull a few band 6's
