Just wondering if distance is the only reason that CSU's med science programme has an ATAR requirement significantly lower than all the major 'city based' universities? Thanks in advance for any answers :)

I used to enjoy it, but somewhere along the line I lost my passion for it.. I blame my useless teacher for the lack of teaching he actually does ... We are not permitted to speak in class, and if you ask him a question he says didnt you do your hw etc etc .. It's utter rubbish trying to deal...

I'd like atleast 94-95, although I am aware of how poorly my subjects scale.. Maintaining first in my current subjects and achieving top 5-10 as a minimum in my others, do you think I can achieve that?

So any guesses on what my atar might be? Any opinion is welcome :)

This sounds similar to me, except I'm doing 'okay' in them .. The subjects at school don't pertain to my career prospects/interests .. I wish some how the schooling system could change to cater for this ( although I know it's virtually impossible to change the education system so drastically) lol

I emailed my teachers and have got my half yearly results and rankings .. The percentages are averages from both term 4 and the half yearlies. The rankings are a result of both these exams. School rank is 130 ~ 135 Maths general - 81% ( rank 32/150) Senior Science - 95% ( rank 1/60 ) Pdhpe...

UTS are deemed to offer the best nursing program, yet there is really no difference .. Sydney's is a new course, so that'll have its pros and cons .. Convenience like Dr_Fresh said is what the ultimate decision will come down to .. I'm still aiming for medicine, either undergrad or grad though...

Btw does anyone know how to become a nursing practitioner ? I'm slightly confused by the information I've found :( Lol

I'm aiming to go to one with a course structure that allows for the most clinical experience .. I think it'll make all the difference between me enjoying uni and hating it because I'm stuck in a room all day

Well considering the area it's in, It's tremendously higher than it's neighbouring schools. I was really hoping for a 98 atar, which I later conceided I wouldn't get .. But I always thought a 95 was possible. Now I'm not so sure. I guess It's nursing not medicine for me :( Although I'll still...
