    Quality Tutor in Sydney City

Bumping this up again, I recently quit one of my other jobs so I have a lot more time to tutor this semester. If you are interested, email me. I also just qualified for my Associate Diploma in Speech and Drama (Teaching) through the AMEB. This means I am a qualified speech and drama...

    Bob Carr Quits

Iemma doesn't like the media much, he is really going to have to get out there and get himself a public profile to get any kind of support. Maybe we should take it as a sign that he hasn't made any big screw ups lately and that is why we don't know his name....

Shooting Brazillian man was a "mistake"

In the witness accounts I read, he was cornered on the train, so they could have used a tsaser to immobilize him. There is no excuse for this in my opinion, no excuse at all.

Politics goes to church at Hillsong

    Bridging Visa E

If I didn't know that it was illegal to drive without a licence, it still would mean I was breaking the law if I did. The government would know.... but even if they didn't, it is no excuse. There is no excuse for such inhumane treatment of other human beings.

    journalism and law :)

Don't do journalism unless you want to be a journalist.... especially don't do journalism if your teacher just told you to do it because you would be good and it isn't something you think you would be passionate about. Maybe do English or writing or just an arts degree where you can mix and...

    Bridging Visa E

I just don't understand how the immigration department can allow people to be on these visas for years and years where they have no ability to work, access health care or study. It is barbaric. Plus it is illogical that Naomi Leong's mother was granted medicare access, but not the child when...

    Right To Life

I don't think politics shouldbe played out in school like that, by bringing in people that have a strong agenda to brainwash kids. I remember (and I went to a public school) how church groups used to come "disguised" as motivational speakers and then try and convince people to come to...

    Bridging Visa E

http://www.smh.com.au/news/national/a-bridge-on-the-road-to-nowhere/2005/07/28/1122143966706.html All I can say is that this is absolutely appalling. A nation blinded by xenophobia to such as extent that they would let people suffer so much really needs to take a good hard look at itself.

Do we NEED a woman on the high court?

Neo I was simply referring to the current situation. If there is a woman who is deserving of the position then she should get it. You can't go "oh we are going to pick a woman this time"... that's all I meant. I think that professions like law still have a very patriarchal structure though...

Do we NEED a woman on the high court?

I think it would be good, but the best applicants should be chosen for the job, they shouldn't be chosen just for tokenism. That being said I am sure there would be some females out there that can take the old boys club on and I am sure that in time we will see a woman rise to the position...

Shooting Brazillian man was a "mistake"

It is all blurry as these situations often are, but it seems they could have identified themselves a bit better at least.
