*cries* I think I can satisfy criteria ONE. For TWO, What if my exam marks are 3 marks higher than him/her, (not the moderated assessment mark), doesn't that implies the same thing as to Criteria TWO??

So Laz, can you really tell me how many marks that I need to beat the top person by in the exam, before I can beat him/her in the Final HSC marks? (with a relative difference of 2 marks in the school assessment mark)

ok, so If I am coming second in a course, with a relative difference of 2 marks behind the first, the only way to surpass whoever came first in the HSC mark is depending on the span of the exam mark, and thus is out of my control?? even though if I can BEAT the top student by more than 2 marks...

what you are talking about is the scaling from HSC marks to form the aggregate of the UAI... But don't you understand, i am not talking about that scaling.... I am talking about how raw EXAM marks are transformed into ALIGNED marks, which undertakes a different path to the scaling of the...

yeah, i'm talking aout the aligned mark...there's some guy who decide the difficulties of the exams and thus, determining how the raw marks are aligned. Is this true?

Is it true that the raw exam marks are scaled to align marks?? And this scaling is out of your control because it is determined by some guy's opinion on whether the exam is hard or easy??

Thanks Minai....But I'm not so sure about Sony as being a MNE's, because they have offices in Japan, Malysia, and around the world...and usually, Multinational corporation is not as powerful and influential, but it doesn't seem to hold true for Sony.

So Laz, For the relative difference of the moderated assessment mark to DECREASE (as oppose to an increase in your case), Does the span of the EXAM mark of the class/year doing the course must also DECEASE? For example, in your case, the exam span is 51 marks, whereas the raw school assessment...

Why is the moderated assessment marks are different in person two, even though the relative difference in BOTH cases are the SAME?
