About communications boys.... it is all too true.... there are some straight guys, but with the numbers of girls in communications you better be prepared to fight LOL. The Loft has sofas.... except the coffees aren't as good as they used to be, it depends who is working.

lol I worked in Harvey Norman in Electrical, and I can totally relate to the gift voucher thing, the people not understanding how the proprietor system works (electrical and whitegoods were owned by two separate people so people would get stroppy when they couldn't pay for it all at the same...

    Longest Time Spent Travelling

Longest trip for me is driving Albury to Brisbane.... But overseas, the longest was Vietnam and that was only 8 hours, nothing really. I frequently do 8-9 hour bus and train trips home to Albury and they are easy... except for the weirdos that I sometimes get stuck next to. Next year...

    Housing near university(uts kuringai)

UTS Housing is all at city campus anyway so it still takes a while to get to K-Gai. Your best bet would be trying to find a room in a sharehouse, the rent will be much cheaper then and a lot of things are supplied sometimes like fridges and some furnature. To live on your own the rent is...

    10% of what you learn?

Well my statistics say that you don't actually remember 66.4578364% of what you learn at uni, so if you don't remember it how can you use it?

    Defining moments of uni

Big VSU protest- relived my dreams of a politically volitile 70s style campus life where we all chanted, marched and stopped traffic, and listened to music at a grassy campus (thanks USyd for providing the grassyness) First few weeks of uni realizing how much I had to learn.... realizing that...

Well the machines were free for the first week I lived here, then they installed the card readers... I much prefered it when they were free, we pay enough in rent as it is anyway.

    You guys really need to...

Does anyone else hate those cards? At the UTS residence where I live, we have to charge up the printer cards to use the washing machines! So if your card has no credit, you have to walk to uni and top it up before you can wash your clothes!

Australians want tsunami donations refunded after Corby declared guilty

An example of the kinds of stupid ideas people are spreading about: http://extremebody.modblog.com/?show=blogview&blog_id=616867&offset=0#618309 I think these sorts of actions have come out of a desperation... people want to help, but don't know how, so by doing these crazy things they...

Yeah people do that shit at my parents shop as well. We ordered a pizza where is it? Who did you order off? My dad asks them. They point at me, or someone else. I deny taking an order from them. They rant.... dad says well I will go and check on the security footage and then they...

I haven't got a scanner, and I have lost the cable which connects my digital camera to my computer.... I left it at home when I went on holiday. You can buy the Monthly at the newsagent. It's a new magazine, this is only the second edition, and there are some big names writing for it...

    My Restaurant Rules : 199 888 22 and code 2 for SYDNEY !!!!

They didn't make a million out of the restaurant... that was the turnover, they probably took about $250000 profit. And the people that keep on bringing up the wage thing and the hair in the food thing... Do I need to remind you about Justine straightening her hair at the bar, washing her...

People in Sydney are so obsessed with tutoring for their kids.... at my school you only did tutoring if you weren't going well in a subject, here people do it even when they are top of the class sometimes! it's crazy!
