    plagiarising

It's somewhat pathetic that an entire discussion can be formed around this topic. Call me a loser with a halo or whatever but it's just plain stupid to rattle off someone else's work as your own to get credit. My uni's Academic Honesty BS might have gone to my head but personally, there is...

Do you tell people to STFU during lectures?

It happened in psych cos this girl just went mad and hissed like a rattlesnake at this bunch of guys in the first row. They looked scared to death LOL I usually want to say something but end up settling for a loud sigh and turning my head to death stare or something :o

    Trials Not Weighing Enough?

You are supposed to know how much trials weigh at the beginning of the HSC yr. Tough luck if you planned to "own" your class by just using the trials and now the weighting isn't up to your expectations. My trials (regular comprehensive HS) were averaged on 30-35% from what I remember (04'er...

No, I realise 80 is not that bad and half of me is actually pleased that it's a pretty nice D after all. It's just that I might have unrealistic expectation considering how much I slaved for that subject (my most hated subject btw) and how much effort I put into revising, studying, doing hw...

Acct 1B - 80 &*^&^%^%$@#@$#@*! I am annoyed. I was just above an average of 84 going into the exam, studied like HELL for the exam, thought I killed the exam and somehow, I still end up with a mark stubbornly at 80. I'm annoyed  Acct 1A was like that too. I slaved in that subject as...

how do you judge a good book?

in a library, I just quickly browse spines and usually pick out the plain ones with plain font I stay away from flashy covers where the author's names is larger than the title or if it involves something sparkly or gold or excessively embossed. There is usually an inverse relationship...

    Options for Economics Students

what do u mean most people doing honours are in first class? Honour grades (medal, 1st class, 2nd etc) are awarded at the completion of the thesis and coursework (one or the other or both depending on what you choose).

    Options for Economics Students

Economics honours is not to be taken lightly from what I've heard. Some take up the honours stream starting 2nd year and just can't cope. My friend is doing it and can barely handle it. I look at her work and cannot even comprehend it. I thought I was good at economics but I'm struggling in the...

    What I am doing/wearing today

    - dark blue jeans - grey v neck cardigan - black and white striped long sleeve tee. It's too out there and "supre-ish" to be worn on it's own so I always wear it udner a cardi or jacket :o and to finish off...bright pink fluffy slippers! Hahaha I'm not going out so who cares.

    Filling booklets

I think one book was about 8 pages? I might be getting mixed up with uni pages but whatever. It's realllllly easy to fill up HSC booklett pages cos they have a fat margin with really wideset lines. Check out scans from standards packages CD's and books if you wanna know what it's like.

The Official 2006 FIFA World Cup thread.

Yeah, going by history, like what Bunny said, racist comments seem to plague the French team. I only just realised the other day that Zidane is a Berber. Man, I'm still so put out :(

The Official 2006 FIFA World Cup thread.

I'm damn disappointed at the way this ended and shocked at what happened to Zidane. A sad way to end a career but I'm sure he'll be remembered much more for what's his done before this rather than this last moment of madness. I'm still wondering what was said that made Zidane see red...
