My parents have a really strong notion that the only people who should do Mathematics Extension 2 are those who study 2-3 hours of maths a day or more and who constantly achieve marks of 90% +

If you're talking about your BOS Student ID, then it's basically the same one which you used for the School Certificate. You should have some official BOS documents which state stuff like "So and so, of such school is doing these subjects in 2008 for his/her HSC" Your student ID should be on one...
