Re: Recommended Texbooks/Study Guides? I bought Success One Mathematics Extension 1 today, but browsing through the shelves, the shortage of proper English textbooks and quality of them is fucking disgraceful.

I'm doing 11. 10 Unit is the minimum, so although it may give you more time to concentrate on less subjects, because the UAI is calculated out of your best 10 units, it's kind of risky. 12 Units gives you a kind of security to fall back on.

From your past papers, identify the topics which are causing you most problems and then get your teacher or someone to explain and go over any questions and concepts which you may be unsure of. Then find similar questions and then practise them until you feel confident with them.

For F = ma, you use the rate at which the object is accelerating. In W = mg, it's not the rate at which the object is accelerating. It's the constant force of gravitational acceleration towards the object.

f(x) = x3 - x2 You take each part separately: f(x) = 3x2 - 2x I think you tried to differentiate 3x2 again, looking from your post. You don't differentiate twice. Once you've differentiated it, that's it. Don't mutilate it any further lol.
