    How do you study maths?

    also, know your theory, there is no use learning the equation for a tangent of the ellipse or chord of contact, or sums and differences of trig functions unless u can derive them. By knowing how to derive them you will have a much better understanding, especially if you get some whacked out Q8

    dry cell equation

    Zn(s) + 2MnO2(s) + 2NH4+(aq) + 2H2O(l) --> Zn2+(aq) + 2Mn(OH)3(s) + 2NH3(aq) thats what ive got, should I include the chlorine spectator ions or not?

    help with grpahsssss:

    2 a) i) same as original graph ii) take all positive values of y. when y>1, new curve will be below f(x). When y<1 new curve will be above f(x). When y=1 new curve will be equal to f(x). iii) Same as ii) except also reflected about x axis b) i) Reflect all negative y values about the x axis ii)...

    1/f(x), why is there no point of discontinuity if the f(x) has a horizontal asymptote

    Re: 1/f(x), why is there no point of discontinuity if the f(x) has a horizontal asymp my teacher said that there SHOULD be a value at that point, and i said there should be a point of discontinuity ahahah. But within the fitzpatrick solutions they never put in the points of discontinuity and im...

    1/f(x), why is there no point of discontinuity if the f(x) has a horizontal asymptote

    Re: 1/f(x), why is there no point of discontinuity if the f(x) has a horizontal asymp ahh sorry, i dont even know why i said horizontal asymptote, i mean vertical asymptote. Because today i assumed that if the function f(x) --> infinity, say x=2 is the vertical asymptote, there would be a...

    1/f(x), why is there no point of discontinuity if the f(x) has a horizontal asymptote

    If we are told to graph 1/f(x), given f(x) in graphic form, why is there no point of discontinuity on the 1/f(x) graph at the point where there is a vertical asymptote in f(x)??

    Catalyst for the reaction of polyethylene

    When a catalyst activates a polyethylene monomer it bonds with it, and this causes a continual chain of ethylene monomers. the reaction is complete when 2 of these chains react together, yet how is the catalyst broken from each end of the chain? because in my textbook it shows the reaction...
