There is no chance of Turnbull leading the Liberal Party whilst the carbon tax remains an issue. Abbott will for this reason survive until the next election. The coalition is also well ahead in the polls.

Opposition Leaders are disposable and both parties get away with regularly changing leaders in Opposition. It's a whole different proposition doing it whilst in government. Just look how it turned out for NSW Labor.

This issue will resolve itself in about 12 hours. The server clock played up due to a power outage and was fixed a short while ago.

By this logic you'd never elect an opposition. You'd just keep the same government forever. Why not just have a one party system? You don't really need ministerial experience. The public service pretty much runs things and as there's plenty of support, new ministers usually get a hang of things...

You realise this is a state election? Brown only runs in the federal senate election in Tasmania.

The last galaxy poll showed half of Labor's 20% primary vote was soft and could still abandon them during the campaign. The rusted on vote is just 10%. Utterly unprecedented.
