Nope. The teacher I have for Extension 1 English tutoring is Indian and has a lot of experience and credentials. Most people in India speak fluent English as well, due to the whole 'Jewel in the British Empire' thing.

Well, I'm in really no position to comment, but I believe that Extension 2 English provides students with a lot more freedom and independence to study what they want to study. Why would a thread about Mathematics be present in the English (Extension 2) forum?

Re: Recommended Texbooks/Study Guides? Dot Point Books are only for the Sciences. Dot Point books are used for revision so they don't really teach as deeply as a textbook would.

Don't rely too much on scaling.

Tutoring isn't the answer for everyone. There are people in schools like James Ruse who are like in the top rankings and have never gone tutoring and learn very independently and effectively.
