    Why is Corby guilty?

I think around 8-10 years might be appropriate for drug trafficking of that quantity whatever the laws happen to be, 20 years is pretty harsh

    different law schools

You don't have to do a B Psych to be recognised by the association. All you need is a major in psych. Hence you can do B Sci/B Laws and still be accredited. However as with both B Psych and B Sci majoring in psych you need either 2 years supervised in the industry post uni, or a PhD I believe.

I suppose you mean 1984 It's repealed: http://www.austlii.edu.au/cgi-bin/disp.pl/au/legis/nsw/consol%5fact/soca1996199/s37.html?query=%28%28%22artificial+conception+act%22%29+and+%28on%29%29. I don't think you can get a copy online. The NSW Parliament repealed acts archive only dates back...

Why do people care about Corby

Yes I think it is 'accessibility' -- we can relate very easily to her situation and it causes us fear. Hell it causes me fear, and I lean slightly towards thinking she is guilty. The fact that she is young/female/so-called attractive, is relevant in that it makes her situation easier to...

Why do people care about Corby

Your argument is confused and nonsensical. What are you trying to say? Are you suggesting that we should not treat people equally because of superficial differences that they have no control over? Incidentally, the term fundamentalist is hardly appropriate to someone of my disposition, and it...

Why do people care about Corby

Do you really need this to be explained to you? The use of the word "nigger" applied to black people by non-black people has a widely accepted pejorative tone. It has overtly sinister and ill-intended connotations. The social semantics and context of the word contribute to the use and...

Breaking News: Schappelle Corby found guilty!

This is the most coherent presentation of relevant facts for her case so far, well done. (With the exception of that last one, which is completely inconsequential.)

    Farm subsidies

Okay well in the meantime, until you would care to put forward some sort of point, that site is of no consequence. Now as I said, it seems to me that there are more profitable industries for our economy. With the global decline in commodity prices our continued reliance on agricultural...

    Farm subsidies

If you think I'm going to read aimlessly through the entire site, think again! Yes, it is the site of the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics. What's your point?

    Farm subsidies

I think that the importance of farming is far less significant today and that there should be less focus on it. While it may have been essential to our economy 100 years ago, it's our reliance on and failure to change from agricultural commodities that brought about Australia's recent economic...

    Farm subsidies

Spending is greater on other industries because the government sees those industries as more valuable, sustainable and central to our economy.

Breaking News: Schappelle Corby found guilty!

Either our country is getting stupider by the day when it comes to this Corby business, or there is a silent rational majority
