Arts has full weighting on senior subjects for WAM

    subjects/units of study in B Arts ????

Yes you can do less if you want, obviously it just takes you longer to finish that way. Also I'd personally recommend you do 2 subjects in one of those areas, as that way you'll be eligible to do senior units in that area

    subjects/units of study in B Arts ????

Basically for first year you'll need to enrol in a junior psyc and a junior sociology unit for each semester. Then use the other 4 subjects to do random electives. Keep in mind that if you major in PSYC, all your other units have to be Table A units

I haven't done HSTY, I've done one ANHS and loved it. I'm continuing this year and possibly going to major in it

    Who's doing pharmacy this year?

Redfern and Central are roughly the same distance from uni. I think Central is a bit further, but you can get mX at Central And I think a fair few people get the bus to USyd from railway square, but its not a long walk

^ Yes as long as you haven't already used up all the junior points available in your degree. For a BA, you're only allowed 48 junior credit points (one years worth)

how many writing books/folders are you gonna get?

Not sure about MECO units, but in my experience you basically never need textbooks in class for arts subjects. Only one of my subjects last semester had a textbook, and it was only recommended reading for like 2 lectures. And they rarely give out notes, its pretty much just what you take down...

    Double Degrees

That's wrong. I know for UTS Business/IT, the UAI is lower than for straight Business

    Dilemma on preferences.

Put Economics if you don't mind majoring in eco, as you don't know whether you'll get the transfer

Yeah I'm pretty sure this means you can do it as long as you've done any 12CP from the arts faculty I don't think so. I'm pretty certain it has to be a full 12CP in one of those areas, so it would be a good idea to do 2 junior HSTY units. This allows you to do all senior HSTY, ANHS or ASNS, as...

    Bachelor of Science UNSW?

^ That's a good point. For all we know the UAI for science may jump to 90+ it's extremely unlikely, but it could happen

    How Hard Is University?

How could you know what you can realistically achieve if you've never been to uni? In many cases grades won't make much difference but I'm pretty sure there are many cases in which grades are very important for job prospects

    GOVT1101, GOVT1105 or GOVT1202

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to, I'd personally suggest you pick something else though to see if you have interests elsewhere, as you may end up not liking GOVT

Any1 hav the recent years UAI cut-offs for USYD??

It's based on demand and supply. Eg. if 50 places are offered for a course the offers go to the 50 who applied with the highest UAI

Any1 hav the recent years UAI cut-offs for USYD??

Nobody knows if it will go up or down, there's like 10000 threads already about this. And lots of courses allow people in with UAIs below the cutoffs

You'll get in as long as your UAI is above the 2009 cutoff

    GOVT1101, GOVT1105 or GOVT1202

The consensus seems to be that all junior GOVT units are shit. For what it's worth, I didn't mind Diarmuid for Geopol, he was funny in a strange way. But I really didn't like the subject. I've also heard AusPol is better than WorldPol
