What elective are the 2004-ers studying for english extension 1? There are a few new modules available for study I see... at our school they are doing the new speculative fiction one... I'm glad I did I&S it's more to my liking...

Second hand book shops are great, you can pick up books so cheap, and they are often in quite good quality. Shame the ones where I live are so disorganized!

13 was enough for me! I'm also so anxious about ex 2 english... you really throw yourself in to your major work, and I don't want to be brutally cut down by the BOS or anything!

Do you mean propaganda sayings? In Germany they had "Gott Strafe England" (May God punish England).... it was on posters, buttons, everything. Can't think of any more at the moment sorry....

It sounds like a really good idea. Are you studying brave new world/blade runner in advanced? Because both of those show dystopian futures and that would be a good way to link it to the advanced course (the extension 2 course should be an extension of knowledge you have gained in adv or ex 1)
