So true, especially about the shorts. When I went to Vietnam you could spot them a mile away... don't they realize that it's culturally insensitive to wear short shorts and singlet tops?? And then we saw one bathing topless on the beach, what an idiot, they don't respect other cultures at all.

    Steve Urwin

He's an absolute wanker. "Why don't I just provoke this dangerous animal... Crikey!!!" And the sad thing is that the Americans actually believe thats what it is like over here. He gives intelligent Aussies a bad name.... and his wife has an annoying accent. Frankly, I think he is an...

    procrastination

This message board, dance.net, MSN messenger (I would bet money that if I deleted it from my computer my UAI would improve lol), daydreaming, making notes/diaries "colourful", getting a snack and then coming back to continue study more than an hour later, watching crappy TV shows, listening to...

    Government Non-Selective Schools.

It's not a uniform thing, it's not like everyone gets extra points, and they don't actually get them on their UAI... it's sort of like some unis might give them extra consideration because of where they live.... like I know if you live in Albury and apply for CSU they look at your application as...

    Media and Communications/Journalism

Thanks for the advice. Here is a predicament though... what if I get a high enough mark to get in to Sydney Uni... it's going to be hard to turn down that prestige, and to me it appears to have a more enriching campus/college life than say UTS (correct me if I'm wrong)... also nobody in my...

    Government Non-Selective Schools.

I wasn't complaining. I just don't believe it because I haven't seen any evidence that this is true and it seems a little far fetched. Call me a skeptic... However, if somebody has some solid evidence to present that indicates that this is actually true I will be pleased to hear it.

    Government Non-Selective Schools.

I don't think that's true. However students may be considered as having a higher UAI by some unis when you apply (like if an Albury person applies to go to CSU they get 5 bonus points because of where they live), however I don't think you get extra points on your actual UAI, some unis just...
