    How much study?

it really depends. If you are really good in 3U, then you shouldnt really be studying, as everything is past knoledge anyway. What you should be doing for 3U however, is doing lots and lots of questions, same for 4U once you learn the stuff. I think that 4U should still be given a considerable...

    Who DOSN'T do Physics

lots of ppl in my scool do the physics-4U combo, im not sure why though. But i can tell you the projectile motion does come useful in physics. I tend not to use the physics formulas for those questions.a:)

    should i do it?

usually, many people do it for the scaling, and i cant say thats a good idea. You do a subject cause you like it, and even if you dont, you should at least know wether you will pass or not. I think if your getting around 80% especially in the high eightees for your 2U exams, then you can try it...

4u maths text books: which to buy??

wow, thats alot of books you got there. I can tell you, if you do manage to finish those, then you will go pretty good in your test. I'd concentrate on Cambridge, cause they have really good questions, and the patels, with its past papers and all. Fitzpatriks isnt really good, cause its too...

    Maths Tuition

yeh i know, to tell you the truth, i dont think selective schools would employ someone like that. And speaking like that would definitely get you no extra students for you to tutor. For all i know, he could be jus throwing the 'selective school teacher' around.

    Maths Tuition

Re: Tutoring First of all, i dont want to offend you cause your older, but seriosly, i think as a teacher, you shouldnt start abusing like that, even though you could be right. And second, even if you were true, qualifications as spice girl said, and proof of what you do is still needed. I...

How'd You all Go... Aahaha beat you all to it...

thats pretty much what i did too. Finding the multiplier is jus k=1/(1-MPC). And MPC is change of consumption over change in income which is calculated by jus using the first and last years of consumption and income. and that will give you your MPC, sub it in that formula, and you get 2.5...

M/C ANSWERS HERE! poll what u got!!!!

as far as i can tell, 7 is D, A decentralised wage determination system involves negotiated workplace agreement. Compulsory unionism was under the industrial relations reform in 1993, and that was scrapped, and doesnt really describe a fully wage determination system, so it cant be A. Wage...

Anyone got a copy of the exam?

sections I and III were the only ones we were allowed to take home, sectionII was to be done on the paper, rite under the questions. Doubt i could remember them, but they were pretty simple. A few on exchange rates, unemployment, inflation. Pretty basic theory. For a HD like you, it should be a...

How'd You all Go... Aahaha beat you all to it...

i dont think your entire mark relies on your hsc test. It still gets modulated according to your school assesment mark, and most importantly, your rank for the subject.

M/C ANSWERS HERE! poll what u got!!!!

18 is D? are u sure? from the look of the graph, the supply curve definitly moved up, ie an extension i think it is called. Where basically means that the supply has increased, meaning quota, or supply for imported shoes has increased. This in turn leads to a fall in domestic prices as they...

    q28

domestic and global is a open question. All it is asking is wat the protectionist policies have on a domestic and global economy, so in general, what does a tariff, or subsidy or wateva effect the domestic economy, such as increased market share, and how it effects the global economy, maybe...

estimated mark for ext 2 people for extension 1 paper

i doubt there will be any 4U students getting 100%, there hasnt been one for ages i think, purely due to the fact that the 4U test isnt made to be completed i guess. But since this test didnt test everything, i guess it is still possible...

    Mulit Choice Answers

i'd have to agree with you on that one, as that is wat i orginally thought, the only reason was because i read that in the text book, which means that error cost me a mark! noooooooooo but seriosly, would a high income earner really need a social security payments, i read that the high income...

M/C ANSWERS HERE! poll what u got!!!!

i would personally think it is A, the reason i put C was because of wat my text book said, it may be an error. but i guess you could think this way, the higher income earners rely on wages and salaries as their means of income, and the lower income earners rely on welfare benefits. unless your...
