    Relationships: Supplementary Texts

That's not a very strong text for 'relationships', as it is far too popular culture and driven by a cliche-ridden plot. You would find it difficult to explore the philosophical concepts of relationships rooted in human condition. And most Steinbeck novels would be very strong for...

The only good about the chillis is that you have it on the rolls, then chuck it out before you bite into it because it does give it a flavour burst. I just feel guilty doing that because the serving ladies are always so lovely to me :o Where's Cheese naan in that underground tunnel? Is it the...

    Semester 2 Chatter Thread (2008)

Re: Semester 2 Chatter Thread Are you sure you're not DFEE? IIRC you did not score a UAI anywhere near 98.35, and they don't give out that many bonus points at USYD for EAS applicants. Just curious :D

Not everyone is asian (and adores Vietnamese cuisine) you know .. Like uhawww i used to have them every day (read: hyperbole - maybe a couple of times a week), and have now moved on to the Beef Pho. I'll probably stop eating that soon and just eat something else in the Roundhouse or walk...

Bobness - Lear personal response question

(The following applies to all others studying Module B Critical Study of Text – which is the reason I asked Callum to post it up for others) Essentially, it is classified as a ‘personal response’ if you discuss the text using techniques. And specifically theatrical techniques for a play like...

Which subject is more "prestigious" - English Extension 2 or Mathematics Extension 2?

Re: Which subject is more "prestigious" - English Extension 2 or Mathematics Extensio Wow, believe it or not, i mentioned this (or its close substitutes) many times in my posts, and this has already been covered in the thread extensively. Also, I don't think any of us were trying to 'eat each...

Which subject is more "prestigious" - English Extension 2 or Mathematics Extension 2?

Re: Which subject is more "prestigious" - English Extension 2 or Mathematics Extensio Ad hominem once again. I have never made references to your engineering background, which to be frank (even though i'm Bob) has far more debilitating stereotypes. You raised some good points overall here, but...

What will your UAC preferences be??

Sydney's Commerce (Liberal Studies) is older than UNSW (the first students who studied Com lib studies at UNSW still have not graduated, so there's no figures on employment rates, starting salaries et al). The USYD course is also far more flexible in that there is only 1 compulsory course...
