Attention all USyders - VSU Information

A small point to Malfoy: If you axe funded childcare, then how would you feel if young mothers/fathers started bringing their children to lectures and tutorials? I'm sure you'd complain a little more then.

Eco & Bus Orientation Day - whose coming, I'm speaking :)

Hey Staz, are you speaking at E+B day as part of the peer mentoring panel? If so, I would have been speaking alongside you... alas, i turned Jill down, as she happened to ring me at a moment when i was a tad stressed and overworked. But yes, some of you may also be getting me as a peer mentor...

    usyd/unsw marketing

You don't have to be creative in all areas though. Some of the more stats based research is just having a knack with data, and interpretation skills in general. (having said that, the creative side of Marketing is much more fun, in my personal opinion!) If you end up doing Marketing at...

    GOVT 1202 - World Politics

yeah those 8am lectures were the worst... especially in winter, and when it was raining, and the last thing i ever felt like doing was getting out of bed to go to a world politics lecture... but his blackboard notes were so shithouse you really had to. i had Adam as a tutor, and he was...

Would I need to have done GOVT in Sem 1, to understand sem 2?

Not wanting to warn anyone off... but just my personal opinion... WORLD POLITICS WAS SHIT. I'm too tired to substantiate that with much thought right now, but it hovered somewhere between being a) useless and b) a shallow overview of repetitive material...

Who got elected onto the union?

An interesting thread, although it was a lot to try and read through at 2am. Funnily enough, I really sat this years elections out. I arrived on campus on polling day, having forgotten what all these people were crowding around for, so I can't really comment on any of the policies of many of...

    MKTG1001 - Group Projects

Hehe, don't stress too much - the best thing about group projects is the night before its due. Coffee, pizza, lounging around someone's house, and rushing to get it bound at 8:30am. Its a real bonding experience. *sighs at the memories*

    MKTG 1001 mid-semester exam

im not sure about the presentation marks... our group was a very strong group, so i never really thought about it... but some advice for the presentation: it pays to be a little different, and do things with a bit of flair... for example, we made signs and banners, had colour coded...

    MKTG 1001 mid-semester exam

If its any consolation, the rest of your assessment tasks from here in should be much more straightforward... do you guys still do the group project, etc? even if you can't grab an HD, a D that is on the upper scale will certainly help your WAM... so if everything goes okay from here on...

    MKTG 1001 mid-semester exam

yeah Marketing Law is a combo marketing and claw unit... so students from either major can do it. The only tough thing is competing against the claw students, who know everything about the format, and are much more experienced. But the unit itself is endlessly interesting... and we're starting...
