USyd has the largest arts faculty in the southern hemisphere. So I guess if you value lots of different departments and a range of major/subject choices, that would be good. Being independent is also good, except keep in mind the pressure of living out of home involved with the cost of living...

What scholarship are you talking about? Most of them actually state 'Personal Statement' if that's what they're asking for.
