I truly doubt that Jake. I'll call up my english teacher (EE2 and Eng Adv HSC marker) to check. I agree with sikhman, I also know that person who last year got a state ranking in EE2 and dod fairly badly in Eng Adv.

Pretty hard to say with ANY certainty who gets EE2! Its the most unpredictable subject, and you have to remember even if someone gets 50/50 (and a fair few ppl do) it STILL doesn't guarantee a state ranking.

Yeah, if you check out the combined law degrees at USyd, there's alot of combinations, but half of them fall under the arts faculty even though they're not arts. Bah. (red courses under Arts faculty) Whereas commerce/engineering/IT/Science all have separate faculties.

Update: I may have seen the list of this years acceptances already. Interesting document, names and HSC marks for subjects. :) Maybe it was for the 2009 cohort, but I wouldn't think so given that they decided on us ages ago. ;)
