    Properties

so if im classifying O2 and ozone: Physical: appearance boiling/mp density bondingChemical: Solubility in water stability ReactivityOr is bonding chemical because if affects how it reacts hence its chemistry? and if i was saying Ozone is more reactive that O2 and talked about being oxidising...

    Properties

"GasChromotography is used to separate complex mixtures of different molecules based on their physical properties, such as polarity and boiling point." i think im confused as to what is a physical and chemical property? is chemical only for how they react and physical is other stuff? could...

    Series Q

ok kool so we use limiting sum when we dont have an end term as it never ends and we use the a(r^n... when r<1 but we have a last term that we wish to sum upto?

    colorimetry

i just wrote up my summary notes after researching colorimetry to summarise WHAT? instrument which quantitatively meansures the amount of light absorbed by a sample HOW? it consists of: light source----filter-----sample-----detector as you notice, the filter is before the sample, not after like...

    Series Q

so limiting sum is used if /r/<1 but isnt there a formula for sum of terms for /r/<1 a(1-r^n)/1-r /r/<1 and for when its /r/>1 a(r^n-1)/r-1 just swapped the r^n and 1 around :S how do you know when to use the limiting sum or this the type?

    Series Q

Show that the sum of the following series: root12 + root6 + root3.... is 2root6(root2 + 1) how do we do this without knowing how many terms there are? does it have something to do with the fact its getting smaller? and graphing y= 1/(x-3) how do we go about doing this?

hah he responded before ya :P i meant those exact ratio triangles like tan45 = 1 and stuff. like cos 60 = root3/2 and a specific question would be this trial i did but there was one in 2005 6 c ii it tells you to split it. I got that once cause it told me. In the trial it didnt tell me but they...

    Angle Of Incidence?

its the angle light hits a medium. your probly doing it in fibre optics. if a lights angle of incidence is less than the critical angle, it is refracted, else it is reflected. ill try draw a diagram ___________ <--- the fibre optic border ......./|\ ....../.|..\ ...../..|...\ just say that...

    Volume

when do you know when to split up an integral under a curver and then find the volumes of these two integrals and add them, rather than just taking the whole integral? and those exact ratio's. are they in radians or degrees lol maths is hard

    Chemistry Question HSC 2007

so they arent in relation to each other? so if u add more neutrons you have N:P hightens? and if u add protons ou have N:P too low? i thought this business of too high or too low meant something like they were inrelation to eachother i.e. if N:P went from 20:1 to 20:10 = 2:1 which is a lower...

    Bonding

aha i think im confused again:( i was under the impression the covalent bonds between a H and an O (for instance) results in an uneven distribution of charge within that molecule as the electron pair in the covalent bond is attracted more to the electronegative O. This uneven distibution of...
