What Did You Think Of The Exam?

I rekon it was pretty hard. But thats probably cause the teachers at our school didn't even teach us half of what was examined and we didnt do any of da pracs. So it was up 2 me 2 bullshit my way around things and use my knowledge of the excell 'text' which tought me the whole course in 2 weeks...

    Industrial Chem: Equilibrium

No I don't think esterification is equilibrium.......its just a very slow reaction

    Industrial : K (EQ. constant)

K shows to which side equilibrium lies. A k value > 10 means equil lies to the right whilst k<10 means that the equil lies on reactants side.

    Industrial Chem: Equilibrium

Thats easy! I made up some bullcrap about pasing the gas evolved when you opened the bottle through lime water, indicating the presence of C02 which shows the change in equilibirum. Secondly I said that I used a 'One-Way Valve' to inject universal indicator to test the pH before the bottle was...

    biopolymer question

Thats not a very good answer. Despite the question not referring to a specific polymer you can bet that in the marking scheme there will be one mark allocated for a specific biopolyer such as PHB. You didn't even mention cellulose but rather spoke generally about 'natural polymer' . About 3...

    biopolymer question

Talked about the PHB and eutrophis aligenes and how this polymer would not be economically viable replacement to fossil fuels. Also talked about the research into cellulose digestion into glucose and the technical difficulties there.

    Industrial Chem: Equilibrium

I used the CO2> H2C03 equilibrium as i thought it was the easiest. I thought about doing NO2 but i couldnt remember exactly what we did.

    Industrial : K (EQ. constant)

I got 32 something. It can't be like in the thousands cause we are only talking about SO2>S03 equation here

2002 Independent Software Design and Development Trial HSC

yeah the marks were pretty low overall. Theres bout 25 in my class however. Big range of marks. Lowest i think was 30% highest 82%. My mark of 64.5 was bout 4th or 5th. So the guy that came first was quite a bit ahead from the rest of the pack.

2002 Independent Software Design and Development Trial HSC

2002 Independent Software Design and Development Trial HSC

Yes A driver is that also. But it is also a small bit of code that initialises a module without the need for the program mainline if you know what I mean. I didn't have a clue about writing that but. It was a really difficult exam!! I hope the hsc isnt comparitivly similar.
