Yes, the course is merely an extension from junior-high school maths (In fact, I'd hardly consider it maths at all), but I'm just saying that It would probably be harder to switch to General now than it would be to continue with 2U.

T'is a bit late to drop to general now dude, the General Maths course is VERY different to that of the 2U Maths course. Just go over everything you've done and do heaps and heaps of past papers. Best of luck.

Nope, as long as a serious attempt was made and you handed in most/all of your assessment tasks you will be allowed to continue on to the HSC. Just remember, Year 11 is the year that doesn't count. ;)

Very true, If I recieved shit marks from the SC I would feel pretty down about year 11 and 12 and as a result, probrably not perform to my abilities.

I was extremely depressed and ill during the school certificate. Even so I was pretty distraught in the prelim half-yearlies too. This time round though, they seem to have settled down a bit. I'm hoping that they subside soon :P
