    ANU vs USyd: Arts

Can't comment on the actual arts program, but ANU would have the better reputation internationally.

what's the mark to get the university medal for USYD? Or is it only one, and the top person gets it?

'My Learned Friend' haha. I want to work in the public sector too. Probably in criminal law. I might transfer from commerce to social science, so it'd just be criminal.. not sure if i'm limiting my career aspects too much by that. I might have met you in one of my subjects. but law students...

    clerkship help (urgent)

tips one of my lecturers gave us (these are the ones i can remember) - in an interview there are always two questions answered, but never asked. 1. Do I like this person? 2. Can I trust this person to do a good job? Can I trust them with my clients. If you get a 'yes' for both, then you're...

UWS haha. All the lecturers I've had so far seem to be from Mallesons, Minters, or Allans. They were making fun of Clutz even before that case, and Blakes too haha.

The people at my uni always seem to be making fun of Blakes, and utz. I've heard very good things about Gilbert & Tobin. (Apparently they will soon elapse one of the 6, and become 'top tier').

You're getting the wrong idea. (Unless you're talking really safe stocks). With Pharmaceuticals, they're very profitable overseas, particularly in the US. In Australia, where we have one of the lowest prices for medicine, with its subsidies by the government, it's not very profitable. The...

I personally wouldn't buy shares at the moment. I guess it depends on how much risk you want to take. If you wanted to invest long term (couple of years) then I would invest in blue-chip stocks, those which are bound to go up when the economy picks up. Things like big banks, investment banks...

    Transferring to UTS law

I would say you'd need a distinction average, though you could possibly be able to get through with a high credit with documentation for special consideration for your health reasons.

Transfer: UWS to Macquarie (Bachelor of Business and Commerce)

Credit average will see you through (5.0)

    Transfer Q's

You should be able to get in with your GPA.

Transfer from UWS B.Bus&Comm to any other university.

Generally speaking, A credit will get you to Macq. UTS would require a high credit to distinction average (72+), and USYD would require a mid to high distinction average. (around 80+)

My Learned 'Friends'. How do you enjoy Law school? What sort of career are you leaning towards? Whether that be law-related or not. Personally at the rate I'm going I think I'll end up working in the public service. The idea of working very long hours for relatively low pay, chasing...
