What do you guys think E3 will be? ... Probably shoud refresh the page more. I'm very happy to be finished and I'm not that worried after finishing. Hopefully I can get an E3

What do you guys think the E3 cutoff will be this year. I'm aiming for a HSC mark of around 70+. Is it about 40%?

Could anyone be able to guess what the raw mark cut-off for an E3 is in MX2. Would it be around 40% could someone confirm thanks!!

Got the final marks back... Eng Adv - 12/44 MX1 - 2/15 MX2 - 2/4 Chem - 2/13 Phys - 1/11 Still about 200 ofc. Thanks Guys

Probs shouldn't correlate ATAR solely with sucess. Additionally if you want to be super critial annecdotes aren't very good evidence to support a point. However I do think this study is odd

If you're good at maths do Extension 1 as it will help you do 2 unit and it scales pretty good. Plus if you start on it you can allways drop if you want to. So I'd say do 14 units. Prelim ranks don't matter as much, it's more so setting yourself up for the HSC year! Good Luck

If you understand the concepts mate, just work on your long response work. Do past papers and get your teachers/tutors to mark them and give you tips on how to improve.

Thanks. In prelim my highest rank in english was 5th so hopefully I can hit my stride in the latter half and match ya :)

School Rank about 180-200 Maths Extension 1 (2/19) Maths Extension 2 (2/4) Chemistry (1/15) Physics (1/11) Eng Adv (12/44) I obviously plan to buff up my eng adv but it's a work in progress.

My class has done, Graphs, Polynomials, Complex Numbers, Conics and we're probably a third of the way through integration.

Start it and if you don't like it drop it. Simple. I reckon it's great my fav subject for sure!

There is no debate that chem and phys are the top 2. How you order the top two is personal preference imo. I'd probably say chemistry is slightly harder but there isn't much in it.

Your friend probably just worked harder. The hsc work is probably slightly more difficult in terms of content but not that much more. Unless you do MX2 cause that steps it up a little more than say prelim phys into hsc phys.

I know nothing about the hsc subject, however Einstein was NOT a christian he was not even a theist at all. He was more of a deist/agnostic. Additionally that quote reads very deistic to me :)
