    Music 1 CSSA trial aural

Yepyep, I got 1st with 26/30 too =) It wasn't that hard, though the Hello Dolly question about the climax was stupid as there was unanimous agreement in our class that there wasn't one XD I thought the layers/structure question on Fauts-Marits Polska was groovy; I liked the piece, very...

Gosh don't you just love Apple!!! I mean ugh...so hard to keep it professional ha :)

Re: Gosh don't you just love Apple!!! I mean ugh...so hard to keep it professional ha Apple computers = expensive and pretty That's about it, though. Buy a computer with the same specifications from any other company and I'll eat my hat if it's more expensive. It won't look as good, perhaps...

How well can you sight read?

I'm about in the middle, I can sight read music to a point, but I can't really PLAY it without knowing how the piece goes first. Once I know the tune I really only use the score as a guide and usually make my own LH up and usually just fiddle with the right hand to make it easier for me to...

    Super Smart Students

Once you leave high school, you pretty much lose your capacity to make friends. You will still have them, but as you get older, starting from your first year out, you will never have the 'best' friends you had in high school. Why the fuck would you want to abandon that for a job or a uni degree?

    Wishlist.

The diesel models of these are damn fuel efficient too. 0-100 in about 7 secs and drinks about 5L/100km. I'd buy one.

If you are in year 11, read this first.

I found that Fitzpatrick was far too brief in his explanation of a lot of the concepts. I use it as an auxiliary textbook, for alternate explanations and more questions, but I used Patel for learning new stuff.

    Manual Vs. Automatic

I suppose you could look at it like that.

    Relationships & HSC

Yeah, I think if I broke up with my girlfriend not seeing her would be more of a distraction to my work than it is now. Besides, we help each other study, in small doses :P

    Manual Vs. Automatic

Well, I was being sarcastic, unless that's what you meant. The internet is oh-so ambiguous when it comes to tone...

    Manual Vs. Automatic

Totally. If you change a gear in a car, you might as well be wanking off some gay guy you've never met off the street <_< EDIT: Actually, i've thought about it for a while and I decided I can't think of a single similarity between the two.

Computer Store / tech store thread

I've yet to see anyone beat MSY. I did work placement with a computer store and the boss said MSY was selling them for less than his cost price, and they are still making profit. They are perfect, if you know what you want.

Marks deducted for using advanced method

I used modular arithmetic in a mathematical induction question and saved about 10 lines of work XD Got full marks too, if it's maths, you're allowed to use it, according to my teacher =)

    Manual Vs. Automatic

Manual by far. Fuel consumption is better too, btw. Also, if you're driving a heap of shit car like most of us would be, if your auto transmission goes, thats that, you need a tow. But you can drive a manual forever (at least till you get home), even if your clutch finally dies on the way.

Faking Your 120 log book hours

Yeah you might as well, as long as they look realistic - i.e. not all in the same pen with the same handwriting, they usually can't be bothered asking you about any trips. Up here at Tweed all the officer did was add up my hours. All my trips were real but I overestimated the time I was driving...

Is it weird/unhealthy to love money?

badoomp-ts I personally love money, but only because of what I can do with it. So in that sense, it's no more unhealthy than loving your car or girlfriend :P
