well i was talking about people ranked in the 40s because they are the ones that don't get in.

at penrith all the 4U students sit 2U up until trials so they still have the option to drop back. (bar the accelerated kids for obvious reasons)

they don't bother. everyone gladly accepts it. they don't want to continue the course if they're getting ~50-60% raw. and i don't blame them tbh that would just make me feel like shit.

looking at the Q now i can do all 15 marks fairly easily but when i did it under timed conditions i only got through 12/15 (couldn't get part a and my time ran out during part i, but i did part j before hand). so although 5 or 6 doesn't seem like much i wouldn't expect it to be more than 10...

i'm assuming you mean arranged in a line. if they are all different objects, doesn't that mean it's just (n! - 1) ? Since there is only one initial position for each object. Or is the question asking it such that NONE of the 3 objects occupy their initial position?

4U english students still do 2U english, so no.

last years exam had an e4 cutoff of 48/70 so i'm not surprised tbh. it wouldnt normally be that low though!
