From what l have been told by teachers, your school will use as many decimal points as they have to in order to differentiate 1st and 2nd. In terms of the telling us our ranks, my school will start receiving them within the next two weeks.

According to my teacher who has marked the hsc engineering studies exam and the metal and engineering exam for the last 25 years, last years state rank was a 91 (and other years very similar), can anyone confirm this.

Does anyone know what mark would be needed in the metal and engineering exam to achieve a state rank? What were previous state rank marks? I achieved 77/80 in my half yearly and 76/80 in my trial and was wondering if this is an indication of a possible state rank. Cheers,

I have almost finished my trials (engineering studies still to go) and I feel like I've done really well, except of course for physics, got rekd. These ranks are before trials. (Felt that l did really well in maths so hopefully will jump ranks quite a bit). Mathematics 2U 45/68 English...
