Yes! By far, to do lists are the most helpful and refrain you from veering away from the task/s. Timetables never really worked for me! Very hard to follow the order... :)

Okay. I have used sophisticated techniques, linking them back to the notion of belonging, the theme explored (in the paragraph) and the question. He said that he has marked the 'techniques' on the basis of how we present (say) it during the speech. It's absurd!!

I guess, but he himself said, "I'm focusing predominantly on the content, not the presentation as such" and another thing: I did my speech 2 days before everyone! Apparently, the others were provided with an extra 30 seconds for the speech, as opposed to 4:00 mins for me!!

I understand that, but what I do not understand is why was he marking my content based on my presentation? Other teachers marked it differently!! It was also specifically under "Content" on the marking criteria... I have to fight for these 2-3 marks!!

Yes, I understand that. I was just simply stating an example. and AOS - he himself said upon the completion of the speech, "You are going to get atleast 28, if not more!!" and I've heard others speeches.... Hope that expalins it

Honestly, 2 marks would make a LOT of difference! Atm, I'll be happy with 22/25 but not 20/25 with 5th position!!
