    Is it too much?

The content looks interesting on paper. Trojans and bog bodies and Boudicca the super awesome queen - who wouldn't want to learn about them, right? It actually turns out that all we do is speculate on what /could/ have happened. That is the gist of ancient history - you examine different sources...

    Is it too much?

Do modern. Modern. MODERNNNNNN. I can't emphasise this enough. Half the kids who picked ancient in my grade are dropping it, myself included.

    Please critique short story!

The entire prospect of a young, "beautiful" couple madly in love basking in post-coital glory is often written badly, and so becomes a cliché in that everyone does it so terribly; it all sounds the same. "They stripped down till they were completely naked now." Why not describe them...

If you could turn back the clock...

Would've moved schools in year 10. Other than that, no regrets about my subjects themselves.

    Studying maths?

Past papers or excerpts from past CSSA exams on the topics you're being tested on. I wouldn't bother with redoing exercises unless you're failing miserably at that topic.

    Subject selection help

I have zero natural aptitude for any sciences or maths, and I found neither chem or physics to be challenging in the sense that they made me sit down and think twice about something the way maths does sometimes. Some concepts make you go "wut" since you're not used to them, but they really...

The University of Sydney Open Day - 25 August

Fairy floss! Sausages! Ice cream! :D I went to the law, medical science, combined medicine and scholarship lectures, and they were all very informative and nice. This just solidifies my decision to study law there. :) The place is huge though, and some of the engineering buildings look more...

    Dropping a subject

    Poem analysis?

Have you thought about, you know..putting in an effort and doing it yourself? *gasp* Adding a cute little please at the end of a sentence isn't helping your case.

    Subject Selections for year 11?!

I'd say give EX1 a go, and drop it later if you don't like it. I find EX1 to be much more interesting than Advanced, and easier too. Most of my friends agree with me.

Tried everything. How do these figures morph into that funky micro symbol...? ;_; Can you use // for parallel then? How about...//logram? (I've used this 7-10 and no one bitched about it)

Maths, maths and moar maths. Help please?

My teacher refused to solve this question for me, because it isn't being tested for our assessment task and there wasn't enough time for him to explain. I'm guessing part b is doable after part a has been solved, but I've no idea how to solve part a. Help? ;_; a) Show that every circle that...
