    The Woolworths Thread

I use "Stock Write Off" for not officially approved store use materials, like paper pads, tipex etc. And on Saturday when the button on my trousers broke i wrote off a packet of safety pins. I was going to ask the DM for her ethical opinion on the issue but she did not respond to my PA calls.

It takes all of 32 seconds to link you to the Service Manager menu. Less, even. Make that 19. I know isn't it awesome? I gave myself Office cashier after I was trained to do pick ups for duty, but as i don't really do them anymore i'm really hoping they don't strip me of them. I would be lost.

It is a fact for our store that the majority of deadbeats lie within the Deli. And once at my old store me and my sister were in doing the shopping and the sole Deli Assistant was so intent on cleaning that after 5 mins i had to purposely run the trolley into the side of the deli to attract his...

Hey I've asked this question before I think but no one responded - if you have access to an Office menu, then you place items from that menu in your favourites, and then your access to that menu is withdrawn, can you still access the items from your favourites? Because when i had dpt mgr, mgr...

This. 5.15, CSM and 2IC had just gone home, all registers open, hammering out express alerts and BAM! Bank of Queensland goes down. We tried every avenue before manual EFT because as it turned out only the SSM and I had ever done one (i wasn't meant to be supervising at that point) and we had...

Pfft, that's not buff. YES at belts not moving. Our registers are so old that that happens even if you have lots of 3L milk, you have to aggressively bash down on the belt and it awkwardly jerks along. Very noisy. 100%!!!!! We got a certificate from Marty and everything. In the comments the...

I just read on facers that my 2IC is moving away. There is one supervisor who i reeaaally hope the CSM don't promote, but rather than that i don't really mind. But actually she mightn't even promote anyone, she doesn't seem really in to having a 2IC.

^ Ha! "but my husband said". Not as bad as i was getting off the plane in MELBOURNE and this old man was like "Long way from Woolworths Kings Meadows!" (old store). He then proceeded to talk to me the entire way into the city about having dinner with this hag who works there that i intensely...
