    What're your standards/criteria?

+ 1, I think a lot of the time people miss out on relationships and people they may have really clicked with because they think they know what they want but in actual fact have no idea.

    Uploading Resources

Hey guys I just uploaded the pending resources. Try not to upload them as word 2007 (docx) files as some people will not be able to read them. Save them as word 2003 files or something more compatible. Good luck guys Mel

Which is best for weight loss, exercise or diet?

Personally, I think all you need to know about nutrition can be found online or in books. My boyfriend has been struggling with weight and I have been helping him and this is what I have learnt. Both is important but I think the personal trainer will help you more. I am not trying to be preachy...

    Summer clerkships 2009/2010

Its not a problem if they aren't out yet. The only reason I am waiting is because I am hoping mine will help my GPA, and marks is the area I need to improve.

Double degree in law and something else?

Try picking it based on interest and variety is good. Most people think they should pick a degree that compliments law but despite thinking that initially I am now really glad that I did arts because it was a nice break from law and the flexibility of my arts degree gave me a lot of choice.

It was a bit weird actually, for LAW438 it only has like 18 students and like two actual classes besides the placement, thus I guess she just put it up on web ct so we could get some feed back. As for LAW521 - no marks for the semester were up until during the exam period (and after the final...

    iPhone or not?

I am not a Mac fan at all and was sceptical but I love my new iphone. I have the 8gb 3G version as I couldnt go for more than a $49 cap but its great. The new one isnt really worth it unless you want the extra space as the majority of the new functions advertised you can get on the free...

    the pill

Most people suggest Yasmin for that but be prepared to pay a lot as its not on the PBS. I think it really depends on the person though, I take Levlen Ed a.k.a Microgynon 30ED and I didn't gain weight, plus its only like $17 for 4 months supply. Tell the doctor you a concerned a bout...

    Girls

Mature girls don't feel the need to play such games, while I don't think overt desparation plays in a girls favour there is no reason why a girl can't show she is keen. I hate it when girls play games, it gives us a bad name

    Should I drop Law?

Don't worry about the UAI, I know a few people getting C's + who had UAI's less that 80

    Summer clerkships 2009/2010

This thread may also be useful to talk about clerkships generally. I am hoping to apply to anywhere I can, although I would prefer a clerkship at Baker and McKenzie (I liked the fact that they allow one entire rotation in pro bono and an international clerkship in 5th year) but I will be...

    Should I drop Law?

Exactly, I was at a general scholarship meeting at UWS in 06 and there were a lot of people there who got into UWS law and had UAI's over 90. I saw people there with UAI's of 98+ and many of the people there, incl myself had high enough UAI's to get into uni's like UNSW full fee. That said UAI...

Which is the highest ranked law school in Australia? (and a few questions)

Do a search, there are countless threads on this. Be wary of the rantings and opinions of people who haven't attended uni or spout hearsay!

    Question!

Do forgive me, I haven't done much stat interpretation in a while since I have been doing stuff like equity and remedies etc not very statutory based. I'm really not sure, its not common to see something like that. To be safe I would say that there can be other circumstances but they are not...

    Question!

Yeah, I think it basically means it isn't an exhaustive list, thus the courts MAY decide other circumstances that will be an exception.

    Can anyone work this out?

Loss that small is likely to be fluctuation, try weighing yourself at the same time, in the same conditions to limit this (i.e. always about the same time in the morning before breakfast). If you think it might be overactive thyroid disease google it to see if you might have other symptoms...

    Can anyone work this out?

Yeah it doesn't help that, to eat smaller meals more often is what they suggest to those trying to lose weight, however thats how I eat.
