    Can anyone work this out?

I'd get some blood work done. Its possible that it is from an overactive thyroid and the test is a simple blood test, ask your doctor to order Thyroid Function Tests (On the form it should say TFT, TSH, Free T4). There may be other causes such as stress etc. Like you I eat a fair bit (small...

why boys go bonkers for boobs...

I think its something to do with our ability to provide for a child, thats why guys like the hour glass figure, big hips, bip boobs and a big arse, all designed to be good for baby making. Its not comparable with girls liking Penis, men like Vagina's and I don't hear most girls saying 'ohhh...

    the pill

Everyone seems to have an opinion on this and even doctors seem to gove conflicting advice. From what I understand, as long as you have a withdrawal bleed every now and then its ok. I generally tend not to skip unless I have to but its a personal choice. Maybe ask your doctor.

    Contraceptives

As other people have said, there are a heaps of different formulations of the pill and generally unless she needs one of the more expensive ones they are pretty cheap. Esp generics, mine is $20 for 4 months worth. Tell the doctor that she was made moody by the injection (I think you are...

[Serious] Law students, do you have a life?

I think most of us answered the question (especially at the begining before things got a little side tracked) the problem is though we can't tell you what you want. I think most of us are answering your question indirectly as its difficult to do directly, we are answering my telling you how hard...

    finding inexpensive driving instructors

go for the smaller driving schools and as others have said look in local papers etc. The best way to find one is word and mouth so ask friends and friends of friends. I paid $40 back in 04-05 and that was a guy who used to have a bigger driving school and had downsized to just him.

[Serious] Law students, do you have a life?

People weren't saying it was easy because its open book, they were illustrating that open book means the exam is focused more on the skills than the content. Yes the content is important, and yes you need to know your stuff quite well but you don't have to memorise everything. You wont have time...

I still haven't got my CUL 101 Essay 1 back?

All my academics claim they should finish marking soon. The OP should ask their tutor to see if they are marked and at the office, or they could just check. Also be sure to check webct as some put the marks up online.

    dropping law

Re: the exam response being fruit salad, here are some tips I learnt. 1. Headings are your best friend, use them in assignments and exams, it helps you structure your response and helps the tutor fingure out where you are going. If its a hypothetical/problem question you are doing give each...

[Serious] Law students, do you have a life?

It can depend on the uni, I have always had open book exams (at UWS) and take-homes or open book exams (at MQ). For law, for Arts it was a mixed of all three

I still haven't got my CUL 101 Essay 1 back?

There is nothing you can do, ask your tutor if they are done, if they haven't you just have to wait. Join the club, I have handed things in, in week 5, week 7 and the second week of the holidays, I have yet to get any marks back and I have final assignments/take homes due on Monday and 9th...

[Serious] Law students, do you have a life?

Yes, you can have a life and get decent grades. It takes a bit of getting used to and after your first year, you start to get the time management skills down. Its all about being responsible and sensible. For instance, unless something is due very soon are you really going to get effective study...

    How do they check plagiarism?

The consequences can be much more serious at uni, it can see you kicked out, or worse, I had one academic tell us he told the admittance board about plagarism thus making it very difficult for the student to actually become a laywer.
  18. melsc

    How do they check plagiarism?

Don't do it, they have plagarism detectors such as turn it in and the are also so expeienced that they can usually tell. Its not worth it so just don't do it.
