    Calculators running out of battery

That's why I brought two in. I was so paranoid lol, but only cause I've heard stories... okay, just one story of a kid this happened to and he just left cause there wasn't anything he could do about it.

    General Thoughts: General Mathematics

I liked it. A lot less harder than I thought it would be, but in saying that I still found it a little difficult as I was not fully prepared for his exam.. I would be if I didn't have Ancient to worry about us well!! The multiple choice were great, I think I only guessed like 2 lol.. and the...

    Section III - Personalities

Did anyone do Ramesses II? The first question kinda confused me: What was Ramesses II's role in the Battle of Kadesh? What did they want us to talk about! He was king so therefore his role was the military leader of the expedition.. I think I connected the Battle of Kadesh with the peace treaty...

Section I - Core (Pompeii and Herculaneum)

When I first saw the fullery I first guessed that it was where they baked the bread lol! But then I changed it, because I figured they would bake the bread in bakeries. I wrote that the fullery was where they made clothes- which was a lot closer to the real answer than where they made bread XP

    Section IV - Historical Periods

Same. I did question a but, I found it much easier to answer.. as I did not know anything with the external relationships between all the kings- the only thing I don't know out of all of. The more I think about what I wrote for a, the more paranoid about it I'm getting.. I didn't really...

    General Thoughts - Ancient History

Pompeii & Herculaneum RAPED me. Question one was like shit, knew I shoulda looked at the layout of houses, so 0 there.. Industries I was like WTF is a Fullery? So I guessed where they baked bread.. Then it occurred to me that they would do that at a bakery.. So then I guessed it was where they...

Section I - Core (Pompeii and Herculaneum)

Absolutely hated the core. I hated the new layout. The tourism question was pretty easy, managed to relate it to conservation easy but in reading time, when I read the fist question I was like :O I revised the parts of a house last night, but not this morning so I completely forgot it.. Meaning...

FML Forced to do an all nighter cause of shit Ancient! Haven't started studying it at all yet. But I am pretty good at it, in top 5? and That's when I haven't revised for it.. Ancient to me feels like general knowledge.. I think cause I like it :) As for Maths, no where near prepared as I...

New SMH Article: Changes to English/SOR leaving students vulnerable

I had COMPLETELY prepared myself for two. When I saw that it specified ONE in capital letters than I knew I could only write about one so I just chose which one was better for me as well. IF the Board decides that students who did two should be marked the same as those that did one than I would...

    Should i take the risk??

My god I hope it's about sewerage systems! (never thought I would say that in my life) That would be absolute win if it was.. Easiest topic ever.

    Should i take the risk??

I'm in the same position as you... I was so obsessed with getting really good at English that I didn't really study for anything else till now.. :\ It's maths today, and ancient tomorrow. As for Pompeii and Herculaneum? I just plan on skimming over the chapter in the book and my notes because I...

Yeahhh... I kinda didn't know what the word provocative meant, I just assumed it had something to do with 'deeper insight' crap.

What bos said about the sor 2009 hsc exam

My teacher said that the exam would be predictable and it's the easiest exam because the questions do not change much over the years.. I'm not sure if he's seen Question 3 yet. But when you do compare Section three (Islam/Christianity) to past exams you can totally see a huge difference..

What bos said about the sor 2009 hsc exam

I wonder how much shit the writers of the exam are in over all this publicity... I dunno, has this kinda thing happened before? I sure haven't heard of it. Maybe it's cause I'm doing the HSC this year which is why this problem has come to my attention.
