woah woah woah. i didnt mean to imply that i am against helping other people. i just gave this guy who was away for the last 2 weeks all my study notes for all my subjects. and im in a study group. i was just broadly generalising about potential side effects of a ranking system

no. it is a hyperbole. a simile would be if the title was something like 'its like we got given a 2 unit paper' as it stands the title is a hyperbole. it could only be 'seen' as a simile, by someone who was incorrect.
