Its basically salon strength. There are probably decent ones that are cheaper but most people have had it used on them at a hairdresser or at a friends and know they work.

Is the University of Western Sydney really as bad as people make it out to be?

No, its not that bad. Like all Universities it has its good and bad points. Prestige being something it lacks. For law the degree is more practical than most uni's which is being increasingly recognised, it means that you get assessed in moots (mock court) rather than traditional essays...

Why can't law be done as the single degree? Why must it be combined?

It doesnt matter what level of English you do, the universities suggest you do what you are capable of, it wont stop you provided you get the UAI required. Universities tend to offer combined law to create well rounded lawyers. Also straight law could be daunting to someone straight out of...

    Wii

I think the Wii > PS3/XBOX360 but I guess it depends on what you want. The wii is better value for money especially for a casual gamer. My b/f has a wii and PS3 and it seems wii is heaps better for social gaming and gaming for all types of people and ages. My 4 year old cousin can play wii...

It was interesting but like many uni subjects you need to get through the introductory theoretical subject before you can move on to the more interesting subjects. That said you can try it out and if you dont like it, you can...

    Gleeson ot Kirby?

Kirby <3 Taking Kirby to something like lawball would make all the other law students jealous :uhhuh: As much as I love Kirby, I wish he would structure his judgements a bit better, like McHugh does rather than just dump it all onto a page.

    Notemaking and Exam Technique

This sort of thing takes time. only you can know what type of notes help you. For me, I am really verbose so making myself cram only the important stuff in 1-2 pages is a good way then put page references to the tb.

    Practical consideration

Bah so not true Jack, do try to learn to be honest. You probably haven't dont professional ethics but if you lie (or fail to disclose anything) at all to the admissions board you can forget being a lawyers. Any fraud or offences will also screw your career. There was also a law student...
