    HS > Uni > Work

You're best off if you can manage work (in your area of study is best), extra-curiculars and decent marks. Employers can be a bit more forgiving on marks if they see that you can balance your life well and have loads of experience. I try to keep my marks above a credit, even better if they...

    400/500 Law Electives

I am really dissapointed with the electives, theres no advanced Crim course (not that I want to deal with Anne again) and not many practical subjects bar the two clincal programs which only have a few places avaliable. I'll probably do one or two at UWS probably Advanced Crim and...

    Hair colour

I believe its more genetic than caused by anything you can do. I've had a few grey hairs for ages and my mum went grey early. I don't want to dye my hair yet because I dont what to have to keep doing it (and can't afford it) but I only have a few anyway.,

    Degrees at 2 diff unis

I found it weird when I transfered from UWS. We did: Intro to law and Torts in first semester and Law Foundation (eqv Jurisprudence) and Criminal law in second semester. It was tough but it gave us a good idea of what the degree was about and were able to practice what we were learning in...

    law transfer for macquarie university

Law credit points are generally given as law degrees all have to teach specific things. With arts you should get credit for your subjects, whether it be general credit or specific exception depends on your course.

    Computer Licence Tests on Saturdays?

Does anyone know if you can do the computer based licence tests on Saturdays? I am due to do my full licence test this Saturday and I was wondering if you can do them on Saturdays? When I tried to book online it doesn't have anything for saturdays so does this mean they don't do them? It just...

Where do you meet girls? (ones to make some sort of relationship with)

Most people I know who have decent relationships met: 1. At Uni 2. At work 3. Through friends 4. Some kind of social event club (not the clubbing kind, like a group or something) or party...

    help with ladies shaving

Also try the schik intuition - I've found it the best thing so far. It has a sold of moisturiser around the blade so no need for shaving cream or anything and it glides easy, it doesnt really irritate as it has one for senstive skin and prevents you from nicking your skin and stuff. It can only...

    first year uni

I've found my marks etc have improved with time. You adjust and it becomes second nature. I've been also told they mark hard in first year to sort out the men from the boys and weed out those who are just wasting the uni's time...this does work. Stick with it, it will get easier.

    Citation Query

I always thought the pinpoint reference will be either the page/paragraph number that you got the information from. Usually I put the volume/issue number, then it sometimes will have the number the article started on, like if it is in a law review or something, then the pinpoint is the page...

Rankings of law school in Australia

I don't think the whole prestige thing is a bad as it used to be. I managed to land a job with a SC and another barrister who were aware I went to UWS and go to Mac. Didn't bother them at all, all they asked was which seemed to be better. I suppose it still effects some of the large firms and...

    Growing taller..

I stopped growing in year 7 and I am 155cm. Unfortunately girls don't keep growing like most boys do. (That said my b/f stopped growing in year7/8 and he is only 165cm). Its mainly genetics I believe. My brother is 180cm and 15 so he's still growing but it just depends, I got the genes from the...

    Dates

Its an expression! (it doesn't mean you HAVE to order coffee) You could order a hot chocolate, milkshake, ice chocolate, juice, tea...coffee shops do heaps of things besides coffee. Go to Max Brennar, I do not know a single girl who doesn't like it. Its a chocolate cafe (unless she hates...
