    Re English Study guides I'd say no: 1. They are very general, the analysis is pretty basic, though if you are stuck on ideas they can help a lil 2. Often the people who write them mark for the HSC (so if you copy out slabs they will know) 3. Heaps of people buy them and use them so markers...

    I think you need to look at what you want from the degree, which uni suits what you want to do, and what UAI you are going to get :) Surf the uni website

    Trials are usually harder, I remember having up to a 12-19 mark difference between my trial results and SC results, but it all depends on your school, but remember your trials wont count, so use them as a learning experience and i'm sure you will do well :) GOOD LUCK :D

    You never know what you are going to get, so my advice to you is to put down all the courses that you want to do, starting with the ones you want the most down to the ones that you would choose if you missed out on your favorites. Just because some uni's have high UAIs doesnt mean they all do...
