What happens if the person coming first internally fucks up externally?

For your moderated mark, since you're ranked 1st - you will get the highest external mark achieved by your cohort as your moderated internal assessment mark. Whatever the mark you obtain in your actual HSC exam, you keep that as your external mark. It depends on how your cohort goes as a whole...

Lol where did you get that from? I had 6-7 lines, then it decreased to 5-6, then went back to 6-8. It was strange. My hand was really messed up today.

I made it a flashback and at the end he reflects once again by returning to the present.

How much did everyone write for the essays?

I did around 27 pages - I just finished. My writing started off small then big then small...

    which module scales the best?

It does for Advanced English that's for sure. Romanticism seemed to be easy for a lot of people and Crime Writing was average as well. Maybe Life Writing or Navigating the Global will align slightly better? Who knows.

I hope they're generous with the marking - well not generous, not too difficult.

    Not happy jan

There are some exceptions I guess - the highest calibre of students. I expect all students to do some sort of molding when needs be, but I find it really hard to do something on the spot - I can improvise on the spot, but it's not great.

    General Thoughts: EE1

I think all the essays questions had two aspects to focus on which made it difficult to centralise your focus. But they still expected the same from every year: context, conventions and language.

I get why they attempt to steer students away from pre-prepared responses but the Board of Studies really need to open up their eyes and be pragmatic about it. My teacher whose quite experienced said he could barely do two responses under exam conditions including the sophistication, flair and...

The good thing for me was that my story was already in 1st person. Just incorporating it and changing the end of my story was all I needed to do.

    Raw Mark for E4?

I'm assuming 44-45/50 will get you an aligned of 48 (probably).

My response didn't fit the essay perfectly, but I talked about how Poe and Stoppard didn't really emphasise justice whereas Ondaatje and my related did. So I really sat on the fence, simultaneously mentioning that they did subvert textual form, convention in response to context etc. I did...

The strangest thing is that my teacher wanted a change from romanticism cos he thought it was dry as fuck. So we switched from Romanticism to Crime Writing and now I'm eager to learn about it. Yeah, I'm sure that people wrote more than 27 pages... some freaks out there.

    Crime writing - creative section

It was kind of a pain. I made it a flashback and I flipped the stimuli around. Something like: "I am a villain of my times; I wish I'd done it differently. Or did I?"

    General Thoughts: EE1

I did like 27 pages in total. 14 for my short story and 13 for my essay (my writing subsequently got smaller, don't know why). My handwriting felt slower and lazier today - don't know why though.

    Generic Questions are Generic

They were generic, though I had to do some thinking. I hate stimuli because I incorporate it, but I don't know how much they expect of it in terms how much to incorporate.
