    Raw Mark for E4?

What do you guys reckon the raw mark for an E4 will be this year? It was roughly 39/50 for a borderline E4 (45) for 2010. Do you reckon it will be the same? The difficulty of the exam wasn't too extreme nor was it too easy.

    General Thoughts: EE1

I managed to mold both my responses to the question. It was pretty good I reckon - it wasn't overtly bad or extreme. Though I did Crime Writing and had to change my protagonist into a god-cop-bad-cop to fit the stimuli. With the essay I did a sitting on the fence response both agreeing and...

They recommend 2 prescribed and 2 related (have 3 just in case).

making up stats, cases, media in legal essay?

I personally don't see the problem in remembering cases, legislation and media articles. I found so many that I had to pick and choose which were relevant. Having said that, I did make up one case law up as in the case existed but I forgot its title.

Only knowing two areas of debate for your case study...

Likewise I've only prepared two areas as well - gender and identity and administrative leadership.

Hey, how are we suppose to study for legal?

I suppose just really know the crux of your content. Know your case law and legislation relevant to certain dot points. Be prepared to respond to particular themes coupled with specified dot points. It's hard to say anything else. For example, when I think of the dot point, Sentencing and...

    UNSW AAA scholarship

Hey guys, On the day before graduation, my careers adviser approached me and said she was going to nominate me for a scholarship because I received Dux. Though she didn't really specify as such, the closest she said was a UNSW scholarship - that would imply the UNSW AAA Scholarship. I never had...

Section I - Core (Pompeii and Herculaneum)

Oh because when I saw "household religions" and "three significant features" I straight away thought of Lares, Geniuses and Penates. Everybody else seemed to have way more comprehensive answers than mine...

Section I - Core (Pompeii and Herculaneum)

What was the household religion question regarding three significant features? I talked about Lares, Penates and Genuises. Is that right?

    Raw mark for band 6?

Scaling and aligning are two different things. Don't mix them up. And I doubt the raw mark for a Band 6 for this year will be THAT high.

    Section II - Ancient Societies

Yeah I thought that as well, though the question did not necessarily correlate to only daily life as it stated "what does the evidence reveal about people's lives in Minoan society". As such, you could of referred to anything that was partially implied in the Bull Leaping Fresco (as part of the...

Alternatives to ATAR in the Wake of the Worst Case Scenario

Apparently, there's a UWS College whereby you do one year of study and then you can enter into an actual degree the next. Sounds pretty good.
