we didnt have an official muck up day, but last friday might as well have been, half our year turned up in thongs, most people wandered around the school not bothering to go to class, and there are a few other unmentionables, yet for some reason we didnt get in trouble

Ok, only like a week ago there was the Italian Speaking HSC Exam. The conversation questions screwed me up a bit but i reckon i did alrite! Everyone else who just did there Speaking HSC as well, How do you think you went?

Your school might have it, otherwise you might (i could be wrong) be able to get it from the board of studies website. if you log in you should be able to get your marks and your rank in the state, but dont quote me on that!

Well try and make it amusing, your in your year so you'll know what will make them laugh. you have pay out a few teachers, its like an unwritten rule in every student farewell speech, and just do whatever else you think needs to be said. dont make it too long either!

Our italian teacher copies actual proper past italian listening exams for us if we bring in the tapes for her, i also get my dad to speak italian to me (hes italian obviously) other than that, i record myself sometimes and listen back, those are the main ways i do it

Yeah i agree, there definately wouldnt be a long answer question, more of a short answer more likely, you could go intoa bit of detail of hat they did in their duties, but nothing more than that

Your essay structure is very well planned and personally i think the format you have at the moment is very good. If you want to keep your opinion sustained throughout the essay, the best way to do it would be to mention or compare your opinion to the opinion of whoever you are speaking about...

Thanks, i now theres life after the number even if i dont get what i want! The good thing is, im applying to a few private colleges as well, where you dont need a UAI! These are my backup, so if i cant get into uni the colleges are there for me! :)

i agree with Sparcod, you dont need someone who will yell and scream at you. you need a friend who will help you concentrate and study, wont let you get distracted and who will be firm(not yell at your face)

Ok, for my HSC i want and am aiming for a UAI of around 80, however with my current marks, im looking at a UAI round 60 or less! :( Now im studying ym ass off to try and get my marks up, but can anyone give me advice as to any techniques or anything that i can do to help my marks and then...

some of your classes may be small but your ranks are good, you can defiately get the UAi you want, you just have to keep doing exactly what you are doing

i created an actual study timetable, and i hung it in a place where i know i will most definately see it. also i have random signs with motivating sayings round my room to help me keep my studying up. also my dad makes threats of what he will do if i dont do well :) thats quite motivating!

Were still finishing off Pompeii and Herculaneum, but were almost done, our stupid school keeps putting crap on so we keep missing lessons *grumbles* oh well
